with those black picture frames that were on the white dresser in my last post... I totally copied the Nester.
When I saw her post on framing a shrimp fork {I have a great one, it wouldn't fit in these frames} I knew what I had to do. I had been wanting to somehow display a butterknife from my Great Grandma and this was a great solution. I added a spoon from my collection and wha-la. I am a total rip-off artiste. What can I say??? Then I read that people thought she was pulling an April-fools joke... what??? This is like the cutest thing I've ever seen, people! I guess judging from my sister's reaction {"Okay? Your creativite ideas are um, very interesting, dude."} I guess that not everyone thinks so. I think vintage silverware mounted on french script scrapbook paper is tres chic. I guess I think it's so cute that I guess I don't care what anyone else thinks.
Have a great weekend!

I like the idea and love that it has sentimental value. Do what you love!
I saw that post and thought it was a great idea too, so then I guess the joke is on both of us. lol
Looks great, very nice!
Thank you for your amazing comment on my bathroom. You are so sweet and I get so much inspiration from your blog as well. You are totally not a rip off artist because you put your own spin on things.

I'm totally coping you...and The Nester! What line did your paper come from?
Very cute, we did something similar with 3 pieces criss crossed. Such a fun and great project!
Seriously Cute! I laughed when I found out people thought it was a joke. I guess there are some out there without our fine tastes (hee hee!)
Well, I sure love it!
It's a great idea and I've seen the same thing at fancy gift shops with a fancy price tag!
Loving it all! It takes a certain breed to see the beauty in framed silverware!

Love these! I've got a few pieces of monogrammed silverware from my husband's great-grandparents that I never knew what to do with. I might have to try this.
