I think it's safe to say all of you know who Heather Chadduck is. If not, let me introduce you to one of my personal favorite designers. She is the style editor at Cottage Living magazine and her home has been featured in the mag twice, in the December issue, in 2004 and 2006 I believe. She is f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s. She has also had a ton of features in CL magazine of clients projects she's done. She's the queen of turning ick into incredible.
I especially love her liberal use of beadboard, blue-green paint, oversize and rustic light fixtures, monograms, ledger paper and burlap. Hello, how can you not love that?
I think she has created a beautiful melange of cottage, old world, seaside, rustic, contemporary, with the occasional dash of glam and melded these varied elements into a signature look that is just beautiful, as well as recognizable. I can usually spot rooms she has done in CL before I notice her credit as the producer.
So, I thought I would amass some eyecandy, courtesy of Heather Chadduck and CL magazine. Do you have a favorite room that she has done, or do you have a designer who's work you
just L-O-V-E? I'd love to hear your feedback!
There are many more pics of rooms she's done that I can't find online, so these will have to do for now. Hope you enjoy!
